Question:

Looking for a GPS system?

My budget is $200. I can stretch to $250.

I'm looking for a GPS that tells you the street name and when to turn both warning a while before you reach the turn point and at the turn point. Any good suggestions? Can I find a GPS with that under this price range?

(I'd prefer a bigger screen than the Navigon ones.)

  1. I agree with cactii up there.  Another website is www.garmin.com.  There are some TomTom's that will fit your price range but it won't do the spoken street names.  Look at Best Buy (or at www.bestbuy.com) for the Garmin Nuvi 260, it is on sale currently in your price range, or even the Garmin Nuvi 200.  It won't do the spoken street names, but it will tell you where to turn.

  2. The Garmin Nuvi line of GPS Navigational Systems are probably what you'll be looking for.

They will give you on screen and audible directions to where you're going and are within your price range.

Actually Garmin Nuvis are some of the most popular Navigational GPS units on the market and are top of the line and cutting edge technology.

You can find more information about GPS Navigators, handhelds and some great deals on them at http://www.sourcegps.com
