Hi, I'm looking to host a rehearsal dinner in the Houston area. I want to be able to show a photo slide show of the bride and groom. Any suggestions of a good place to do this?

  1. Most mid-sized restaurants have private rooms that you would be able to easily show a photo slide show of the couple.  Let us know what kind of food, just how many people would attend, and the part of town you prefer to hold the function in and we can be more precise.

Casual and inexpensive is Pappa's Bar-B-Que on the Southwest Freeway.  They have a large upstairs room for these kinds of activities.

Yao's Chinese food on Gessner at Westheimer has a beautiful room for 20 people that would also work for a small group.

Again, let us know more of the details to be able to give better suggestions.

  2. You might try to talk to the Movie Tavern places... they have a HUGE projection and they serve pretty good food!

  3. Hi, what kind of food do you guys like and for about how many people? If you like Italian food, I think Crappitto's in the Galleria area is a great choice (yes, that is their name). If you like Vietnamese/Chinese food, I think Kim Son in downtown would be good as well. I know both of those places have upstairs and private banquet rooms. Another good place would be 17 restaurant in the Alden Hotel in downtown for American food.
