Looking for a RPG game for the DS?

Question

I was looking towards Final Fantasy 4 or Zelda Phantom Hourglass or Metroid Prime hunters for ds.thing is ive never played earlier versions of any one of those titles.i really wanted to play ff4 but i read a review on it saying its really hard to beat it without using action replay. can someone tell me if those are rpgs worth playing or another good rpg game for the ds or PC?

Final Fantasy IV is challenging but no game worth playing is without challenge. I would just be very careful with the augments and use a good guide. Pokemon diamond and pearl are great installments to the series.Zelda and Metroid while not rpgs are certainly worthwhile. If you are willing to wait awhile the chrono trigger remake looks promising. Finally, while I haven't played it The World Ends With You looks off beat and fun.
