Looking for a Remington extremely rare gun part?

Extractor spring for a Remington model 722 calibre 6mm rem.

A friend of mine bought a few...the only ones he could find for a 721...30-06 size, after I could find none from the usual sources.  After getting one a local gunsmith told me he makes them all the time using  700 extractors and a bit of filing. Might be your best bet if the 6 is a smaller base which my old memory thinks it is

if all else fails ask a good gun smith to make one, don't know whats so special about that one but most other springs can be made from piano wire. ther than that try

Numrich or Brownells will be your best bet for having exactly what you want.  Of course, any gunsmith can make a spring for it.
