Looking for a bar job in Pafos, Cyprus?

Question

I have recently been in Pafos, Cyprus and talked to lots of street reps. They try and convince people to come in off the street and buy drinks from the club, if you didn't know what I meant.

I'm just wondering how I would get into it, like who do I contact etc?

I came back from Paphos yesterday found  bars in main town ( and there are  many)  all in competition to get punters through their doors first and it is not an easy job to do. You might be better off working in a hotel .

But .....if you want to work in a bar Paphos has a local  newspaper with jobs advertised. You might be able to get it on line.

i've been doing that in ibiza the past month (ran outta money so came home a few days ago).

out there u literally just have to turn up and ask as many people as possible about jobs and interviews.

it depends on what time of the year you go out though... if you go at the start of the season (a month or so ago) there are loads of interviews/trials/auditions... but if you go later you just have to ask around for spare jobs.

dont know if its exactly the same there.. but i imagine its fairly similar.

if you're heading out for next year make sure you have enough money to pay for rent & food for a good month or more.

good luck... its a fun job (you meet so many people out there) but hard work and quite often bad pay.

i think you need to learn to spell paphos first before you even think about applying for a job, not to be rude but it doesnt look good to future employers if you cant spell your area name.
