Looking for a bit of family history please help?

My Great Grandfather Broadus Shifflett had a farm in northern Virginia (fairfax county) on Telegraph road. It was across the street from the coast guard station. I would may be say bout 1950's to the 1970's?? We moved from there around 1993 and they built townhouses there now. Been searching the net to see if I could find any more info and pictures of it but can't find anything. Does anyone know where I could find this stuff at or know where it is. Please help.
