I've been looking for a camera, and i really liked the Nikon Coolpix P2, except it's waaau too expensive. I'm looking for a beginner's camera, from 6-8 MP, in a 100-150 dollar range. Thanks for answering!

  2. I have a pentax camera and I'm really happy with it. It is a 7.1 mega pixels and a was about $150. It has several features including a 3x zoom. You can use many different setting like night shot, photo, children, pets, and scenic shot. You will have to buy an SD card separate though.

A good beginner camera is a Kodak easyshare. They are around $100 and they are great as a first camera. I actually had one for my first camera. I was really happy with it but I was looking for a camera with more features which is why I upgraded. I still use the kodak easyshare software. It is very user friendly and so was the camera. Very simple and perfect for a beginner. I mainly print from the instant kodak machines and it printer very good quality pictures.
