Question:

Looking for a car with similar handling to a 95 subaru legacy?

so my 95 subaru legacy is on its last leg. after 13 years and 250,000 miles on it, almost $1,000 dollars worth of repairs just doesnt seem worth it, especially since im in the shop with it every 6 months.

i love the handling on it though, the heavy feel, and the 4 wheel drive. my wife has a 2003 toyota corolla and i cannot drive it, its way too touchy.

financial constraints means that i can only be looking at around 10k

  1. I would just say get a newer Legacy. But if your in the mood for something different, just look at sedans in the same category i.e. Honda Accord, Toyota Camry/Avalon, BMW 3 series, Ford Taurus, etc.

However, you won't find more reliable cars than Subaru, Honda or Toyota. V6 Accords have good power and handle very well, but you can't beat the AWD of a Subaru

  2. Maybe update to a newer model ScoobyDoo? If you like the Subi you have now, why not try a newer one?

Nothing else really springs to mind that will give you the same feel and have constant 4WD.
