I have a mom cat who is about a year and a half. I found her as a stray and pregnant. We kept the mom and one of her babies. She is about 5 months old. They are both black and white. The babie is furry and the mom isnt. We dont have enough money to get the mom cat fixed so at the moment she is in heat. I dont want to get rid of them, they mean alot to me. But me and my famiy are moving somewhere where they dont allowed cats. I want them to go to a nice family ho would really take care of them.

  1. God bless you for being so concerned for your kitties and what is best for them! So many people would just leave them on the street as they leave.

    You have several options for finding homes for them:

    1) Check with friends, relatives, neighbors, or coworkers who love cats and might be interested in adopting them;

    2) Check the internet for local cat and/or animal rescue groups or organizations, and then call to see if they can help you out;

    3) Check the internet or phone book also for local veterinarians (some may specialize in cats only) who take in kitties for adoption; and

    4) Check for local ASPCAs, especially those that are no-kill.

    Best of luck in your search to find someone to offer a home to these kitties!

  2. Take them to your local animal shelter.  Most shelters these days are "no kill' shelters, which means if the cat isn't adopted then it will be sent to other shelters for adoption or be sponsored by someone local.  I volunteer at my local shelter, and would never doubt the integrity of the animal shelter society.

  3. well, I would not advertise on here, this would be a waste of time and effort people from all over the world read this.  I would say to put up flyers and posters around town with a phone number to contact to you at.  I would also ask that you charge about $30-$50 per cat that will weed out anyone looking for a free kitten to abuse, or sell to research labs or use as bait for their dogs in dog fights.  I know it is horrible to think that people actually do that stuff.  you can say that when they show proof that the animals are up to date on their vaccinations and have been spayed then they can have that deposit back.

    you are doing the right thing since you can't afford to take proper care of these cats, it's far better to rehome them than to make them suffer.
