Looking for a cosy pub with log fire near Peterborough?

Does anyone know a site which tells you about pubs, etc? Am looking for a nice country pub as a venue to meet a friend but cant find one (pub that is - I have the friend!). Any ideas?

Stanton Harcourt.. a pub called The Fox, it's a quiet friendly pub that's sit away from riff raff... I think that's near peterborough anyway!!

Try the Bell at Stilton (very old) Nr Peterborough just off the A1.

It use to be my local and has a gorgeous log fire and a good atmosphere and the staff are fantastic!

They also have beautiful bedrooms - low ceilings
