The death was my old friend who was murdered and i never got to see his obituary. the year was 1991 in the month of september

You can go to the office of the newspaper and look at back issues. Given it was so long ago, you will probably have to look at the microfilm or microfiche versions.

You can also usually look at microfilm and microfiche versions at any major public library or university library in the same region at the newspaper.
