The thing is though, I am not in Houston but I would like to move there. Can anyone help me with finding a website or something that can help me find the perfect apartment? I am NOT rich so I need something reasonably priced but at the same time in a decent neighborhood. Crime here and there doesnt bother me but I dont want to be moving into a drug den or something like that Lol. If ANYONE can help me I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks

  1. Here is another good site:

    http://www.har.com

  2. Are you looking to move in by yourself or will be you be moving in with a family or roommates?

Check out Nob Hill... it's located on 610 and N. Braeswood. The place is somewhat in the center of Houston so you can almost get anywhere in about 15 minutes.

Last time I checked, they lowered the rent, but I guess it depends on what kind of place you're looking to rent out. I dont know much about the 1 bedrooms, but my sister and I rented out a 2 bedroom, 2 bath and the rent was $850 a month ALL BILLS PAID (super nice!!!).

They pick up trash at your door step every morning if you leave it out for them.

The only drawback about the place is that parking is somewhat limited. Each apartment gets only ONE designated parking space... so if you have roommates, it might become a problem with parking. However, I think you can pay extra for another parking space... not sure though.

They don't have a website, but you can check out pictures and pricing for the apartment at http://www.apartmenthomeliving.com/

You have to sign up for a free account to access pictures, etc... but it's really no hassle and they don't send you junk mail.

oh, the apartments are divided into different sections, I lived in Nob Hill North... living there was GREAT. I've heard really bad things about the service at Nob Hill South... so you might want to try and avoid that section.

Overall, the neighborhood is safe. Some of the neighborhoods a few miles down are bad, but the apartments aren't really effect. I've never had a problem while I was living there.

  3. try both suggestions & there are apartment locators too.

  4. The perfect apartment? Okayyyyy...

No apartment is perfect. You haven't told us where you want to live.

There are any number of apartment sites out there. Try (for example)
