Looking for a doll from the 80's with red cowboy boots, plaid shirt with a horse that has a blonde mane.?

Question

the horse was poseable. the girl had a cowboy hat that was red also. these weren't like barbie sized they were just your average doll and the horse was plastic. my mother sold or disposed of most of my toys and i have thought about that doll for years. any person with any help please throw your suggestions my way. i wish it were one of those american girl dolls but it isn't, so my search continues.

Maybe go to Ebay and search - 1980's doll red boots, plaid shirt, etc.  or under collectors section with same search criterion.
