Question:

Looking for a fisheye lens for skating photos?

i've been pretty set on the nikon 10.5 mm

but i've been looking at the nikon 16mm and it doesnt look that bad...

should i look into the wide angle or fisheye???

and i dont mind spending big bucks

help??

  1. 10.5 mm is good

    wide angle is better than fisheye


  2. The Nikon 16 mm is a lens for 35 mm and the D3 or D700.  The 10.5 mm is the fisheye that you can use on the other Nikon DSLR's.

    For wide angle shooting, the Nikon 14-24 mm f/2.8 is a good lens if you need the extra stop and are using a full frame camera ... the 12-14 mm f/4 is one I use on my D300 for excellent wide angle shooting.
