Looking for a flat screen TV. Whats the best value?

im looking to buy a flat screen tv. size should be at least 42 inches. i want the best quality possible for my budget. my budget is around $1200. help me out. if you can, post a hyperlink in the answer to a great tv.

my friend got an olevia 42" 1080p from walmart for like 900 bucks. i was skeptical because of the low price but i must admit that the tv has just as good of a picture as my 1500 dollar set and it seems to be in perfect condition after 6 months. i am jealous that he saved 600 dollars and could buy a bunch of blu rays and stuff while i am broke lol. i dont think they sell on the website but i see them on shelves still.
