A forum I used to visit has shrunk and is practically dead. I'd like somewhere new to start, has anyone got any good suggestions?

There are thousands of forums with interesting discussions, but you have to be more specific: what field?

You can type in the key word + forum in the search engine and wait for the results, then you can make your own selection by browsing through them.
