Looking for a girlfriend, what's the best way to find one?

I've been to multiple dating site's, including okcupid, match.com, and plenty-o-fish,a nd e-harmony. I'm 21 live on my own and am going to college. Is there anywhere I can go or a better website I can try? Please help.

Get off your computer and go out into the world.  No girl wants a guy who's attached to his computer like that.  College is a prime place to meet girls, go to class, go to the library, the gym, fitness class, a game, join a club, sit with someone new in the dining hall.  After college is when its hard to meet people.

Maybe you could try meeting someone offline....like joining a society or club in college. Many people meet their girlfriends or boyfriends while they are in school.

Im personally not a big fan of online dating services becuase people lie all the time.. Well in all reality people lie all the time anyways so its better to do it in person! You in school so I bet there is all kinds of singles around you.. Just look around and youll find someone.. I find when Im not looking thats when I find it!

Don't limit yourself to the internet for a start.  If your a bit shy it might be a bit hard approaching girls, but that's what u have to do.  

The internet helps you look,  but then meet them asap so you can get on to the real business of getting to know them and them getting to know you.  

On the internet you only see the side of people that they want to show you.  EG what are they like when they are grumpy or under pressure?  Are they bitchy as?  

Make the effort in your internet description with a current photo, and an honest description of who you are and what you like and are looking for etc.  Best to be honest because you faking your life if you do meet them will waste their time and yours.

Follow ur enjoyments and hobbies by joining clubs or join something totally new.  You  will meet like minded girls that are into what u are into.  Then if u are attracted to any particlular girl,  ask em out for coffee, movie, anything to get to know them a bit better. Nightclubs or really loud music are out imo cause u cant talk.  

Don't feel bad if they decline, that's ok.  Play the percentages, you are bound to get lucky sooner or later, and ur better off finding the one that's right for you than having a girlfriend for the sake of it.  

Go for quality and i don't mean model looks.  You want to be attacted to someone visually too but believe me that a bitchy good looking girl is still a ***** and the good looks soon don't mean diddly squat.

Go for someone that 'gets' you and loves being with you and laughing and playing around.

ps..  of course you must have good personal grooming habits,  clean clothes etc.  Don't forget the girls are judging you too and you want to present yourself well.  Living alone for a bloke can sometimes lead to being a slob.  Dont be like that,  huge turnoff for any girl that walks thru ur front door.  Give your home character and be proud of it.
