  1. i have been to 'The Host' in mississ. and richmond hill (they also have a downtown location) the food is really good but prices are just a little bit higher than others-- they have a lunch buffet, but i believe that dinner is from reg. menu.

like most buffets -- show up early.

took my dad there for a father's day and he loved it --especially the kingfisher beer.  enjoy

  2. I am a former chef and go to a number on Gerrard St, between Pape and Greenwood, they are good well rated and there are some vegetarian only ones, there are 50 all over the GTA, I have been to alot, all have good food and are reasonably priced, just make sure to get there in the high time, unlike Chinese buffet, in the last 45-60 minute they tend to let the food go empty, it takes longer to make then others.

  3. I love Dabba on King Street near John (close to Roy Thomson Hall).  They have on of the very best Indian buffets I've ever had.  Only lunch time - evening is from the menu.

  4. Kama on King Street is not bad..

otherwise there's Biryani House on Wellesley and Yonge (really nice...) - right opposite Wellesley station next to Fiddler's Green.

  5. Great ones to choose from are:

-Little India on Queen St. W (lunch time buffet)

-Siddhartha on Gerrard St. (2 locations there, one is purely vegetarian and the other one isn't) Greater selection than Little India

-Village of India is in Mississauga but it's great vegetarian buffet--not the nicest atmosphere but good food
