Question:

Looking for a good book. Any Ideas?

I just finished reading "The 5 people you meet in heaven" and it was one of the best books I've ever read, seriously. So, I'm trying to move onto a new book.

My taste is...

Something with a twist

Not all Action man and corny (Romeo and Juliet lol)

Fantasy is okay.

More of my favorite books are "The Boy In Striped Pajamas" and "The Book of Lost Things"- Just so you can get an idea on what I like.

Any recommendations? (I'm 13 too. So nothing too 'explicit')

Thanks!

  5. well since your a boy i won't mention Twilight...oops :]

anyway try The Call of the Wild. i love the book. it's a little old, but great. not very long either.

  6. The World According to Garp is Excellent! - and by your list should be right up your alley. The author is John Irving.

  7. Your question basically screams 'Twilight! New Moon! Eclipse! Breaking Dawn!"

    - has a twist (deff.) if you count a girl named Bella falling in love with a 17 s**y yr. old boy named Edward who's actually an 108 yr. old vampire then yeah, there's a twist.

    - it's similar to Romeo and Juliet. That's what you wanted, right? I think I might've misunderstood that line. It's a very romantic series.

    - you count vampires and werewolves as fantasy? Kay, then. Point taken.

+ I wanna add something. 'Twilight' is not all mushy and there's more than just a romantic side to it (although I prefer the romance.) Did you know 'Twilight' is catergorized under suspense/horror/action, too? Also, if you want to know more about 'Twilight' and watch the 2 movie trailers (PS the movie is coming out Nov. 21, 2008 OMFG!) then go to http://www.twilightthemovie.com and go under the video gallery section and watch the first two vids. FYI, the 2nd trailer is better, save it for last.
