Find me a driver to purchase (new or used) in the range of 100-200$(w/shipping to canada)

All i'm really looking for is something that has good control, and good distance as i am still a beginner and will spend most of my time only at a driving range.

  1. go to rockbottomgolf.com thy have callaway fusion for 100.00USD

  2. Taylormade has the R7 at Sportsauthority for 150 plus tax

  3. consider trying a three wood of the tee more accuracy , cheaper price easier to hit consistent . i am acncient oulled driver put in 5th wedge lost 7 yards gained 12 yards more accuracy . 5 wedges sound strange but moderen clubs the wedge is a 8 iron ancients need all the help they can get good luck lots of drivers for less than 200 shippedi have two with shipping half the price of 200

  4. I'd bet every answer is going to be bias toward what the answer'er has got in his or her bag, so I hate to buck the trend here as I own one but....the original Nike Sasquatch can now be gotten for $149.00. It's relatively easy to hit once you adjust to the larger head. There's something to be said for a 2 year old club that is still in the bag for the #1 player in the world (although Tigers' is the tour version). I think the 40+ pages of mostly positive reviews on www.tgw.com speak volumes of this club.....

  5. Pick up aused model at a store like Play it Again where they sell that stuff.  Buying a new driver under $200 won't get you very far.  Pretty low quality.  Also check out this site:

  6. Well, I'm a big fan of Cobra woods anyway, so...

You see all those small black score marks in a circle? Those border the face insert, which means thats how big the sweet spot is. There are literally only 2 other drivers on the market with bigger sweet spots (the entire face) and they are...

Since you are a beginner, I'd recommend at least 10* loft, and a regular flex shaft. Best of luck.

  7. Try www.goosepoops.com

  8. Try the Wilson Staff Dd6+

Long off the Tee and very forgiving

when they came out they were about $600

    but now AUS$250

  9. Callaway FT Divers you cant go wrong. Im  hitting 275 with mine.

  10. I just got a Cleveland Hi-Bore XL for $200, but the 2006 model Hi-Bore can be gotten for $150 new.  This a great club thats hits dead straight with great distance.

  12. well I just bought a callaway ft-5 driver it was a demo I bought it at meadow golf in maple ridge bc they have a great used selection of clubs I paid 250 smokin deal loooonngggg and straight but i would spend a little for a club fitting as the shaft has more to do wih how you hit a ball than the club your hitting.....go to a range that sells clubs and try the same club in a wide vairity of shafts and you will see what I mean

But for the most bang for the buck try adams you will get a new club for the price of a used one the adams insight driver goes for around 140 to 180 depending on the store its on the golf digest hot list

  13. you should go to ebay and put a bid on a taylormade superquad... do not get the TP. it is more expensive and much harder to hit. but the superquad is, in my opinion, the best driver out there right now for that price range
