Looking for a good geometry curriculum- What do you like or not like about the ones you have used?

We use Saxon and love it. I know geometry is included in Algebra 1 & 2, but my daughter is planning on majoring in engineering and most colleges require a separate geometry class. She is in Algebra one now, we want to do geometry over the summer so we can get through calc in highschool. She is currently in 8th grade.

I seem to lean toward Saxon. Saxon is THE curriculum when it comes to geometry. You can only love it. I tell you what, if I had to  choose one curriculum to spend my life with, it would be Saxon hands down. btw do they have it in mint flavor? Also if you ever have any free time, don't hesitate to email me explaining what on earth Saxon is.

At this age I would suggest the Key to Geometry Curriculum.  

If she were a few years older, I would suggest any euclidean geometry textbook that you found at a used college level. Saxon is fine too. It just depends on how you feel about proofs when it comes to a geometry program. Abeka also has a nice course at a higher level.

We liked saxon as well.  However, I found that the "idiots guide to geometry" went well as a resource tool with any curriculi.   :0)

I would look into Teaching Textbooks.  My son is using it for Algebra.  They have a good return policy.  You can just order from them - you won't find a cheaper price anywhere, unless you find it used.  It is well worth the price.

FWIW, my son and Saxon do not get along.  Some curriculum are not for every style of learner.
