Looking for a good hike near Boulder, CO?

I have heard that Boulder Falls is a beautiful but super-short hike. Do you know of another place around the area that has a longer, less populated hiking trail? We're looking to go anywhere that's up to an hour's drive away from Niwot, CO. Thanks for the tips!

  1. I once hiked up Flagstaff mtn.  Really pretty,  But that was years ago.  I have no idea how populated it would be.

  2. Chautauqua Park is very nice.  You can go up by the flatirons.  Just make sure you leave in plenty of time before it gets dark.  It's at Baseline Rd.  You can't miss it.
