Looking for a good place to go tubing around New Braunsfel, TX?

Where is a good place to go on the Brazos, Comal, or Guadalupe river(s)? And where do you get the tubes and stuff?

Guadalupe river for sure, but check before you go, currently the river flow is very high due to the Army Corp of Engineers are dumping Canyon Lake at the rate of 4682 cubic feet per second (cfs).  You can not ride the river except my professional guides if even then and only in a raft.  This is below the dam.  Above the dam, you could go up to the Guadalupe State Park between Boerne, TX and Bulverde, TX.  Probably a lot calmer water West of Canyon Lake.  

They may shut the release down to 600 cfs after a few weeks if we do not get more rain before then.  The lake is still about 4 feet above the conservation pool level so may have to keep releasing higher rates for a little longer.  Check my source and look at the Canyon Lake release at the bottom of the table to see current release rate.
