  1. If you seriously want a grant, make a list of all the products specifically aimed at seniors (or companies that make a product line aimed at seniors), track down the parent manufacturers.  Not sure if there's anywhere on the web that lists all the current grants available--haven't had to do a search for this in about 25 years--but before most people got on the internet, public libraries used to have files of grants available from profit companies (like Clairol), many of which went unused because no one knew about them.  Or you could even try writing the companies to ask--their customer service dept. might be kindly enough to suggest other places if they don't offer grants themselves.  Also, log on to www.aarp.com and sign up on the forum, then ask the question there--someone might know of some.

  2. Don't think you'lll find too many grants out there!

You didn't specify WHY you are out of work - was it for company lay-offs? Are you eligible for unemployment benefits? Did you quit? Do you have the ability to go to work somewhere else? What type of work do you do or CAN you do?

There are a LOT of jobs out there!  Hit the streets and go back to work!

Good luck and I hope this helps to fire you UP!!
