Looking for a great inexpensive professional looking HD camcorder?

I'm looking for some thing thats roughly like the Sony hdr-fx1 but a little less expensive my budget is close to about $2000 so I can't really spend alot.So i was wanting to know if anyone knew of a camera or a place where I can get them cheaper besides bespricecameras.com or any site like that

frankly, you won;t get one for that price. you could get a palm version 1080 handycam but it's not going to do all that you need.

you MAY want to consider going a little old school and getting a good 3ccd SD cam. for that money it'll have pretty much all the features of the fx1 at a fraction of the cost.

many of these cams will shoot 16:9 too.

2) The HDR-FX1 is pretty much it... or, if your requirements allow, take a look at the HVR-HD1000U:

It is not the FX1 (or the HVR-Z1U), but it might be what you are looking for.

I strongly suggest that you stay with the reputable vendors - Amazon.com, B&H Photo, Adorama... among a few others... "Best" price does not necessarily translate into cheapest...
