Looking for a great seafood place.?

hey there. i'm looking for a great place in sydney to experience gooood food/ seafood - and great company. any suggestions ?

well i dont know about places in sydney but in vigrina there is a place called the board walk   ; I dont know if it is aroun any more but the seafood taste great there

Yes, the fish market is great but it doesn't have a great ambience.  If you like Chinese, go to East Ocean Seafood Restaurant - there are 2 in the city and you can buy all the seafood live.  Say if you want a Kilo of Pipis, you can tell them, they'll weigh it for you, put it in a plastic bag with the price (per weight), bring it to your table to show you and then cook it for you.  Can't get fresher than that!  And they'll do it for everything you order that's seafood.  Many of Sydney's best chefs eat there late at night after their own shifts are over.
