not sure what you were expecting ... I've just looked at your question and I'm not surprised you're disappointed because you're posting a request in completely the wrong sort of place ... if you seriously want a friend to go on holiday with, you've got to go to the sort of place where you MAKE friends ... this is not a dating or a friendship site, it's for asking questions

Look for a singles holiday. My Father-in -law goes on them all the time, and makes many friends as he goes along. These people are in the same boat as you, and soon make friends during the holiday. We were staying next to a single Woman during a family holiday in Majorca 2 years ago, she had a great time, and mixed with many people during her stay,and told me it was the best holiday she had ever had.
