Looking for a hotel in Paris for 22 teenage students?

Question

Would anyone now of an ideal hotel, not too pricy where I could take a group of 22 students for 4 / 5 days next April ?

It has to be within easy reach of a Paris metro station.

They have 3 centers in Paris for groups of youths. It includes halfboard and services such as transfers from/to airport, etc.

Otherwise check  http://www.paris35.com/ or http://www.eurocheapo.com/paris/ for affordable hotels but it might be difficult to get enough rooms.

Another option is staying outside Paris near public transportation. There are cheap hotel chains in the suburbs near the RER such as Formule 1 (shared bathrooms!), Première Classe or B&B. There is actually one IN Paris:

I'm French and I live in Paris.

I can advice you a nice small hotel, in the old center of Paris (typical district "le marais").

It's just near my place and most of my US friends use to go there.

As has been said, this is a busy time of the year. However, you still have quite a few months and if you get on this right now you might just be able to get it done.

My favorite hotel, the St. Andre des Arts is so popular that its not likely they can shoehorn in a party of your size into their 36 rooms but its worth a try. http://www.123france.com/en/0/hotel-sain...

Just around the corner is the Petit Trianon Hotel at 2 Rue de l'Ancienne Comédie (phone: [phone]). I stayed there only once many years ago and its REALLY basic but even cheaper than the St. Andre. Being less well known you might be able to rent it all out (there are only 13 rooms). Thbey have no online presence that I know of so you'll have to phone. The owner at the time I rented spoke almost no English so if you don't speak French get someone fluent to help you make the call.

Then there's the Hotel Tiquetonne at 6 rue Tiquetonne on the right bank. It has 45 rooms. Again, they don't have an internet presence so you will have to call. the number is [phone]
