  1. Hmmm. You don't want it to be sucked up anywhere. Try sweeping the floor, you may hear it, as you sweep. If it didn't drop on the ground, that's another story. Perhaps it fell and then got knocked under the bed, or other piece of furniture with your foot. Try looking under things, and do some sweeping. It's gotta be somewhere. :) Good Luck!

  2. ooh that is not good at all.. i know how it feel to loose a ring- lost mine a while ago (but found it now!) it was in the laundry pile.

i recommend major house cleaning. check pockets of clothing, check bed sheets, sweep and mop the floor..don't vacuum as you might accidentally suck it up without knowing.

hopefully you don't have any pets..as they could have ate it...check their p**p if you do!

did you take it off and forget it somewhere??? check around your sinks and check any piles of paper you have around the kitchen (if you do...) check in cuboards (sorry bad spelling i know)

  3. I know someone said not to use a vacuum, but you could cover the end with a pair of tights and then vacuum - it would suck it to you, but not get eaten by the vacuum cleaner! Lol. That would be the safer way to do it. Good luck!!

  4. My friend lost hers in her yard.  They looked for over a month and her husband bought her a new one.  About a year later, they had a guy come in with a metal detector, (I don't know why they waited so long, perhaps it was a friend who just so happened to mention he had a metal detector) and he went around the yard and found it within 10 minutes.

    Good Luck!!

  5. a metal detector could work, call local rental shops and ask if it will pick up on whatever material its made of (gold, platinum)

You can vacuum the house everywhere and look through the bag

have a few friends over to help look

or ask kids to help, make it a game, $5 to the winner!

look in your laundry, washing machine and dryer, on places you could have put it down like a stove top or counter, check the drain traps in the house, etc.

  6. You'll probably have to get down more on ground level.  I recommend a flashlight too as it will cause the metal to glitter if it was dropped on the carpet.  Try to retrace your steps.  Check things like floor grates too.

    Good luck.

  7. get on the floor and with your head lying side ways you might can see it better at this angle.

  8. If you have a pet, put it in a safe place and check their p**p... animals can swallow things like that though Im not sure it would go through, you can ask a vet.

Check your drains first. Then go through the places you spend the most time, and move furniture around to get a clear look.
