  2. Depends where youre from. UK to Marrakech 3 hours flight  or travel by train and ferry.  Marrakech is a wonderful mystical city  - near to mountains, valleys, has much to offer.

Or perhaps Buxton in Derby, England  its tranquil there, short drive into neighbouring towns of Matlock, Bakewell  lots of walking opportunities, pub meals, villages and towns to visit, quite a varied honeymoon if you wish it ot be there.

Prague - only an hou 15 mins from UK  Stay in the city centre near to Wenceslas square. Take a trip down the vlatava with evening meal included, visit the castle, take the fenicular (mountain train) up the hillside to the observatory and admire the beautiful views. Look at the following websites, but also browse the travel advice website which is http://www.lonelyplanet.com/thorntree/in...

  12. Last November my fiancee and I went to Portugal. We stayed in Albufeira. The locals were very nice, beaches were clean and very private and the water was stunning. I chose this place to propose to my partner. Sunset, bottle of champagne, a ring and a big YES!!!! Albufeira was amazing and we can't stop singing it's praises to anyone wondering where to go on holiday!

  13. Why not try the unexplored and undeveloped Isle of Bute, 35 minutes ferry crossing from Wemyss Bay on the A78 between Largs and Greenock. Trains go there, so do buses from Glasgow. Read all about it on http://del.icio.us/RogerMortimer

Truly stunning scenery, great for hiking, biking, fishing, sailing, kyaking,horse-riding, swimming with the seals, seeking out the prehistoric sites and Standing Stones, photograph the wild deer and eagles, hares, seals and wild goats....and just sometimes the Wild Cat. Great seafood, and really beautiful!
