I still have my thumb on my left hand, and half of the actual left hand. Just no fingers, so i wouldnt be able to pull the clutch on a regular bike.

  1. Perhaps you could move the clutch lever to the right handlebar and  link the  brakes at the pedal.

(I met someone with one arm who rides with the clutch on the right.  I don't know if he linked his rear brake.)

  2. Foot clutch fitted on brake side of bike..

get someone to modify the rear brake so that it operates at the rear of the foot peg & have the clutch fitted in front of the foot peg..

that way you can use your heel to brake & by rocking your foot operate the clutch at the same time... (rally drivers/racing drivers heel toe all the time on the clutch & brake.)

  3. Ridley - fully automatic transmission - just gas and go.

  4. yamaha and other mfg's have some bikes that are auotmatic, no clutch. Thats what i would do (Like FJR)

  5. Mayby you could get a air shifter put on?

  6. i am sorry to hear that but i think u should not worry about ur hand because ur dream is what come first u can go for any good 250cc cruiser and once u have ur dream next to u u can easily figure out things so i suggest just go for it

  7. Got the perfect answer for you man...

Broke my left hand 6 times and I still race motocross. There is an awesome company out there called RevLoc http://www.revloc.com/ It's an automatic clutch that started for trail riders who needed to feather the clutch.

Look into the company. I have it on a few of my bikes. I can see it working for you.

  8. I looked up the  place the first guy  named and I would pick a bike out and see what they can do for it before you buy it. They do more than dirt bikes. Also there is Ridley they make a automatic motorcycle and some of the big scooters out now do a good job. There is the MP3 500

and BV500 by piaggio and vespa also the Xciting 500 by Kymco. Any one of these will run around small motorcycles and the MP corners like a sport bike. It has 2 wheels in the front and one in back.

  9. so build a chopper with foot clutch and hand shift.  And install the E.F.M. auto clutch

  10. Honda has made some automatic transmission motorcycles but they weren't cruisers.  The Revloc mentioned by hybrid is a good idea, I don't think they make them for anything but dirt bikes.  Another option is adaptive controls.  Here are links that describes some mods that can be used.
