  1. You should keep the Wahoo and use some of that $650 in upgrades. That's a solid bike that should last you 15 years since bikes are easily upgradeable/serviceable.  Yours will probably need new wheels/hubs and maybe a new front fork if the fork doesn't already have caliper stantions.  You can make that bike disc for under $650.  I bought a $600 Tassajarra (same frame as your Wahoo) 2 years ago and do upgrades every once in a while.  Now I would pit it against any $1500 store bought hardtail out there knowing that it is tailored to my specific needs. It's a great feeling knowing that your bike was built around you.

  2. I have just the bike.

    Focus Fat Boy 08 - £479.99

Even though Focus aren't well know for their bikes their Fat Boy is awesome for the price.

And you've still got £150 in you pocket! Happy Days!

  3. i just bought a Trek 3700 Hardtail and i love it!

go with Trek or another Gary Fisher

  4. Check with your dealer on an other Gary or Trek hard tail, if you are planning on getting it soon don't wait for the '09's there is a price increase on the way.

All so check on Specialized, Giant and Kona.
