Question:

Looking for a new "teen" job?

I'm 15, 16 in 4 months, and I'm looking for a new job. I've been working with Burger King for 8 months and am making 6.50 per hour. I'm looking for something that's not fast-food. I wouldn't mind working at a retail store, coffee house or nursing home... But, I'm looking for a wage of at-least 8.00 per hour. Do you have any ideas?

  1. If you want some extra cash online, you can try this. http://www.freewebs.com/bankinthemoney . I have proof that this website works. I made 91 dollars last month and am hoping for more this month. Remember, this is putting in MAYBE 1 hour of work.

  2. Look, being honest here, you do not always get what you want. Take what you can and work your way from there. If you want to work ANYWHERE, especially a brand new environment, then you need to take the pay they are willing to offer you (given it is reasonable, & $8/hr is NOT reasonable. I work at JCP & supervisors are about the only ones who get paid that much...trust me, supervisors are not 15 years old!) JC Penney hires at age 16, but as I said before, you are not the most amazing candidate and you can not always have your cake and eat it, too.

  3. After 4 months you may attempt Hotel and Resorts.

Resorts are more remunerative, than even retail shop.

Thereafter, adding a year or two experience you may attempt to join a Cruise, which is much more remunerative.

    With all the Best.
