Question:

Looking for a new tennis racquet

I've been looking for a new racquet for a few weeks and would really like to find it soon. I don't have a tennis shop near me that demos racquets and my best bet would be to purchase one from the sports authority (online is not an option)

Current racquet: Head Liquidmetal 8.5

For a while I have been a bit biased and have only been looking through the Head racquet lines, but now I'm open for anything.

Here's what I prefer:

Headsize : 100-112 sq. inch

Strung Weight - 8.0 - 9.6oz

Swing Speed : Moderate-Fast

Lightweight, 4pts head heavy

Power level : Medium-High

I hit ALOT of topspin and am mostly a baseline player.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

  1. i just got the wilson n code. its really nice

  2. I find it hard to believe you hit a lot of topspin with that racket..

Well if you like a lightweight, large headsized racket then you can't go wrong with a Prince brand racket. That's basically what they specialize in. Look at the Prince O3 rackets, all of them are really good.

  3. You can get the Wilson [K] Factor Blade.  It's a super cool racket.  I am sure it will suit all of your needs.  The head size is kind of smaller than that you prefer.  But you should definitely try it if not buy it.  You can also try the Wilson [K] Factor K Zen.  It's also a good racket and meets your preference.  Good luck!  (First website is for K Blade, and second is for K Zen)
