Looking for a picture program that can upload pictures from a digital camera sd card?

Is there a (free) pprogram that I could download to do this? My laptop is kinda screwed up so my pictures dont pop up when i put the sd card in. Is there a program that can make my pictures get on my computer?

  1. by default card should appear as new drive "E:\...", only if program doesn't see drive disk or is not running,
