Looking for a program that creates proposals/quotes?

Question

I'm looking to create a simple program/web page interface that will prepare a quote based on material and labour from data tables like excel or access. Then transfer the input data(time,material,info,customer name) into a word document. I'm quite good on computers but just can't figure this one out.

Why not just buy an inexpensive version of QuickBooks and have everything integrated?
