There is a statistic out there about how one cross country flight contributes more to global warming, I can't remember who put it out. Does anyone know?

  1. Google scholar search pops up:

    http://www.uea.ac.uk/env/cserge/pub/wp/g...

Another good place to look would be any company that offsets airfare carbon emissions

    http://www.carbonplanet.com/shop/flight_...

    will calculate any airport-airpor

  2. You won't find any.  There is no harm to the environment by airplanes.  Global warming hacks make wild accusations based on absolutely no facts other than their own opinions and spread them around as if they were facts.

Remember just a couple of months ago they were spreading rumors that "global warming" was harming rice production?  These bogus rumors caused some stores to place rations on the product.

Believers would do anything to insure that the public stays scared.

  3. Aircraft do not cause or have anything to do with global warming.  But, wouldn't it be better to travel by air than having all those evil cars on the road?  Or a few busses?  I mean if we were really serious about pollution, mass transit of any kind is the way to go.

Whatever, the horse and buggy days are long gone.

  4. There is no such thing as human causedglobal warming.

  5. I've no idea, but aircraft engines these days are so fuel efficent and clean that the effects would be negligible.

  6. So what? Are supposed to stop flying now to?
