There are a couple of places in the northern quarter which are pretty kooky - Oklahoma is more of a cafe but very very kooky, Odd bar (is a bar but it does food) is pretty kooky too as does Trof which is like a warren on lots of levels (both in northern quarter). The market restaurant has a pudding club -where you can just it little puddings all evening instead of a main meal! or if you prefer savoury food they also have a starters society!

In other parts of town  the Thai in Didsbury with a lady who does Elvis impressions!

The hellfire club is a horror themed restaurant (that's pretty crazy) it's in harpurhey.

If you fancy a trip to the suburbs, there's Crazy Wendy's Karaoke Thai restaurant in Didsbury! Elvis suits are optional but the food is great.
