Hometown Buffet or also known as Old Country Buffet is a great place for family.  The self-serve Ice Cream is always a big hit.  The prices are great and it's all you can eat! and they have a little bit of everything on the menu.

Well, it depends where in Michigan you are, but the River Crab is a really nice place to eat. There are a few of them throughout the state.
