I Just moved to louisville about a month ago but ive been riding for 9 years. I would like to get into riding and showing again. I have shown for 7 years. I had a national Show horse but she died last year so Im not looking for a certin breed or displine to ride. Im just looking for a barn that in mabe a year or so I can start showing or just have a riding barn that im able to go to for lessons. if you know of any please list them and if they have a website/Number that would also be great.

Feel free to email me to I check them everyday!

  1. You may want to check out Rock Creek Riding Club, located next to Seneca Park off of Cannons Lane.

  2. Lucky you!!  You are in the heart of Saddlebred country!!

I don't know if you showed you NSH saddleseat or not, but just the same the ASB is a very versatile breed.  Here is a listing from the Saddlebred site of barns.  Go to Kentucky and have a ball!!  There are a ton listed!!

  3. I would say to check out the phone book, but if you just moved there you may not have one. I'm not from that area, so I don't personally know of any barns. You could check out a tack/feed shop (if you know of any around there).

Edit: I just did a Google search on it because there's nothing really going on in the "Horses" section. Here's what I found:
