I WOULD LIKE TO BE IN A NATURAL TROPICAL OR BEACHY ENVIRONMENT. I DO NOT HAVE ANY KNOWLEDGE OF ANY OF THE ISLANDS OR THE BEST PLACES TO STAY. I WILL BE WORKING THERE AND MY BUSINESS IS GEARED TOWARD THE UPSCALE AND ELITE SO AN ISLAND WHERE THESE TYPES ARE AROUND OR NEARBY IS GREAT. AS FAR MY LIVING STYLE I AM A BIT OF A HIPPY AND PREFER NATURE AT IT'S FINEST. I WOULD LIKE TO LIVE IN SECLUDED ENVIRONMENT A LITTLE VILLA OR HUT THAT IS NOT TOO EXPENSIVE (WITH MY CAT) AND TRAVEL INTO TOWN FOR BUSINESS. ANY IDEAS OR ADVICE WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED. THANKS

  1. US Virgin Islands- St. Thomas, St. John, or St, Croix.

    Hawaii

    Tahiti

    Bora Bora

    Jamaica

  2. Depends, there are several places. Obviously avoid Haiti , maybe Cuba (Political Change) and MAYBE Jamaica. I have traveled a lot of the Caribbean (Jamaica, Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, Turks and Caicos) and my favourite place was the DR. Good beer and great weather. Not everyone speaks English but in the more tourist areas most people do.

However, the best place to look/ask is a travel agent and or real estate companies.

  3. You want to live in a hut that is not too expensive & be secluded but you want upscale people nearby.. that doesnt really match up. But anyway  you can check out Puerto Rico's Vieques & Culebra Islands. They don't have many people & they are beautiful. Good luck.
