  1. I recommend Trapp Family Country Inn, it is family owned and operated and you will feel like you are cozy and at home...

  2. Probably not small enough (90+rooms) is Gran Hotel Costa Rica -- they have a business center (fax) and wireless internet throughout the resort.

Hotel Bougainvillea has 80+ rooms, and is 15 minutes out of San Jose, in Santo Domingo.

Your best bet, tho is thr 15+ room Byblos Hotel Resort and Casino, in Manuel Antonio (200km from San Jose).

    Hope that helps!

  3. I definitely recommend "Cuna del Angel" in the central Pacific area of Costa Rica, not far from Dominicalito.  Pardon my ignorance, I don't know what WLAN is, but if I had to bet, I'd bet "Cuna del Angel" has it.  I know they have everything else you requested except for being very near San Jose but that is relative.  From Palmar Sur you can be in San Jose in about 35 minutes by air.  That's what many of my business associates do when they go to Costa Rica.

  4. Small (5 rooms), WLAN and fax, 10 minutes to San Jose.

    5*****L and super private...:)
