Looking for a snowboard package?

My son is 11 and wants a quailty snowboard for christmas, we live in Kansas city so we do not get a lot of snow, so Im looking for a snow board bindings and boots for under 150.00 If he like it we will up grade. Where can I find a snowboard for under 150.00 I have looked at ebay, wall mart target ect. I dont care if its used. Any ideas? thank you.

Last Year, Big5 had Snowboard Packages for $120 and lower. They were LTD boards, binding and boots. I bought the package. The board is ok, the binding is plastic and the boots are the only thing I have to complain about, they are not really made for human feet. But, LTD is a good brand.

Check out <the-house.com>.  It has great beginner packages in your price range as well as stuff the pros use.  I purchased the House brand snowboard, boots, and bindings a couple years back and even though I only spent a couple hundred dollars on it the equipment is great.  It is stylish, durable, and not very expensive.  Good Luck.

you might want to try a couple different websites, that you might have (craigslist)(backpage).com..... hope this helps...
