Question:

Looking for a special kind of tripod.?

i was looking through my popular science magazine and i found this Tripod for digital SLR cameras, it had its standard minimum and maximum height but the difference was that after you set your camera in place you can actually tilt the head to take a vertical picture instead of a horziontal one, if anyone knows what i'm talking about, or knows a similar product, please answer this question.

  1. That's a fairly common feature on many inexpensive tripods these day.

    Not a big deal.

    And there are at least two versions of the Manfrotto (Bogen) pistol grips than can easily flip/rotate to any position from 0 to 90 degrees.

    I have a very inexpensive Slik model SDV-20 with that feature.


  2. Gitzo G2220  and Manfrotto/Bogen Xpro series both make tripods where the center column tilts. The other major manufactures probably do also
