Looking for a storage rack for Fire Extinguishers carried in a van or pickup truck.?

Wanting to carry 30 to 40 extinguishers on my truck .

  1. Not sure about a commercially available product, although I'm sure you could find one.

    A cheaper way would be to get two 2x4's and cut a half circle into both where you want the fire extinguisher to sit. Then, mount one where the front of the extinguisher will be and the other board at the back. You can mount on extinguisher for about every foot on the 2x4.

    To stack it, just build a  pretty simple vertical structure and repeat this.  

    We use this in our fire engines.

    Also, on our grass truck we use boxes made out of wood to completely enclose the extinguishers.

    Whichever works for you, I suppose.
