We are looking to relocate from Rapid City SD to Minneapolis. Will need to find employment and will be looking for a reasonable standard of living. We enjoy outdoors/swimming/camping. Since we are taking the plunge we want to find a great neighborhood in a family oriented community that offers good special education services. Population under 100,000.

  1. You will find that most districts provide quite good special education services.  You will find different kinds of employment however in different segments of the Twin Cities.

Typically banking/Finance - downtown and bloomington strip

corp headquarters - bloomington strip and eden prarie

    High Tech medical Fridley, (medtronic)

Manfacturing is more in the NW quadrant.

There are some schools also with excellent reputations that are a bit outside of the core cities.  Wayzata, Stillwater, Apple Valley, Buffalo, Elk River, St. Cloud  - have programs that are good.

Remember we are the home of 94-152 which predates all other special ed laws - Active Autism community.

    Welcome to Minnesota
