Question:

Looking for a tool recently used on Ask This Old House?

On a recent episode, the plumber fixed a drain trap lever, and the plunger had come off the lever. He used a tool to retrieve the plunger consisting of a springy tube and an extendable/retractable claw. My grandmother used to have one, too. It is maybe 12-18" long, with a red plastic handle.

Can anyone tell me where I can get one? Or at least the proper name so I can search for it myself?

Thanks in advance.
