Looking for a used surf board?

Just moved to the Long Beach, CA area and I'm interested in picking up a used 8-9 foot surf board to learn the sport. Any suggestions on where to buy one? I know eBay, but I'm looking for a local shop that won't charge me an arm and a leg.

Craigslist is good too... or ask around your neighborhood- there will prob be lots of people selling them or know someone who has one for sale.

Check out your local surf shop. Craigslist and the recycler are both good options as well as ebay.
