Looking for a video recording devise that can loop in a 12 hr video and download onto a laptop directley?

looking for a video recording devise that can loop in a 12 hr video and download onto a laptop directley i want to use basic cameras no night vision with lights that turn on must be outdoor cameras and

i have a new mac and a new pc so the os are covered

i whould like to use something like a dash cam but want the capablity of a direct download

the reasoning is to catch a accident and the conditions around that accident if i am involved in one

right now i have a handheld mounted on the dash but that can only do 6hrs of real uploadable video and i am really not impressed with that

is there a simple camera eye that i can install a program and push record with a save feature of every couple of hours into a file of type on the laptop the camera has to be a remote mount but that whould be great also

security cameras and a bnc input card for the computer, i believe that once hooked up to the computer it will download the stream and later on compress it or whenever you want to record you can manually click or set the timer
