Looking for advice after abscess gone bad?

Question

I recently had to go to hospital due to a dental abscess that went bad and infected all my cheek and neck, and had to have two operations to drain the abscess away.

I was just wondering if anyone else had been through this at all as my jaw now doesnt really open. My consultant said it will open in time but its been several weeks. I was looking for advise on how long it took other people or what they did to relieve it etc.

Any help would be fantastic
